"Deep & penetrating into the unconscious"
Devavani meditation draws its antecedents from the ancient method given in the Old Testament called Glossolalia, Talking in Tongues.
The first stage is preparatory, in which the meditator listens to gentle music. In the second,he/she begins making baby-talk sounds
like la, la, la. In the third stage, the meditator begins to move his/her body in the rhythm with the sounds. The fourth is relaxation.
This meditationn is best done just before sleep. With a regularity in practice it ensures a different depth & quality of sleep that the yogis call Yoga Nidra, in which the body sleeps , but the witnessing consciousness remains awake.
